We visited Tillimook County during our vacation. We were able to tour the cheese factory, taste cheese and of course we had to get some of that delicious ice cream!
Before we came home we stopped at the Enchanted Forest.

First Day at the Coast

On our first day at the coast we went to the beach and played. Our family rented a house in Lincoln City close to the beach. We had so much fun playing in the sand. Krista was daring enough to try out the water even though it was a bit chilly. Anyone who spoke with Mabry the week before knew how excited she was to get to the ocean. I think we were all ready for the vacation to begin and this was a perfect start!

A fun day in the kitchen!

Mabry started the morning off playing with play dough. She was preoccupied enough to let me put her hair in pigtails... so cute!!! Later that day we mad a pizza for Daddy. If you look closely, you'll see that she is rolling a piece of salami! So much fun!!!

Memorial Day 2009

Mabry and Papa Jeff
They had to have matching dresses, so cute! (That's a root beer)
We went to Boise for Memorial Day and had a terrific barbecue at Aunt Ria's. It was really nice spending the time with family. The girls are always so popular at these things!

Mother's Day Weekend

Our annual family picnic always takes place on Mother's Day weekend. Jeff and I took the girls to Boise to celebrate Mother's Day and my grandpa's birthday. We went to Sunset Park and played croquette, visited with family, and played on the playground. Mabry really enjoyed the slide, she kept saying "again!?!" What a great way to spend Mother's Day!

Easter 2009

Mabry was really caught up with the dyed eggs rather than the chocolate ones. WOW!
Looking at the treats from the Easter Bunny...
The Saturday before Easter, we took Mabry and Krista to the Easter egg hunt at the school. Krista did her egg hunt in the cafeteria where there was an obstacle course set up and Mabry was in the gym where there were eggs laid out all over the floor. The girls found so many eggs and tons of candy! On Sunday, the girls searched for the Easter eggs the Easter bunny hid. Then we went to church to celebrate the wonderful gift that Easter Sunday represents! AMEN!

Mabry's Second Birthday

Mabry's second birthday was so much fun. We went to Zims Hot Springs to have the party. We had a dip buffet (Mabry's favorite food) and a chocolate Abby Cadabby cake. Thanks to everyone who came, we had a great time! Mabry even told everyone thank you for all of the great gifts. WOW!

Hello!

Well, we're finally getting caught up with all of you fellow bloggers. Maybe we'll be better about sharing pictures and our special events!
